What is Pre-Apprenticeship?

Pre-Apprenticeships are hands on construction programs that prepare you to apply for entry into a construction apprenticeship. They can be between two weeks, like the cement masons program, to year-long programs such as the job corps and conservation corps. Many pre-apprenticeship programs offer education in multiple trade skills. Some offer employment skills like resumes, interview practice, and construction math.

You will increase your odds, exponentially, of being selected to start one of the many apprenticeships in the area when you graduate from a pre-apprenticeship program. Getting into an apprenticeship is the start of a career where you will be able to support yourself and your family for a lifetime.
